“Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” (Mark 16:15)
This is the commandment given by Jesus Christ to His disciples. Today, the ministry of preaching the gospel, entrusted by Jesus Christ to His disciples 2000 years ago, continues to impact and reach countless individuals across the globe. But, this world is still under the control of Satan. As God's people, we have the responsibility to share the good news we heard with people. We urge God’s people like you to fast a day and pray for world evangelization.
WHY ?
In the letter to Corinthians, Paul wrote “But I say that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons and not to God; and I do not want you to become sharers in demons.” (1 Corinthians 10:20)
India is a country of diversities, with extremely complex and different cultures, ethnicities, and languages. Each state in India is different from the others. The population of India is 125 crore. But among them, only 2% of people follow Christ, even though we have received the gospel 2000 years ago. In India, 98% of the population is neither non-followers of Jesus nor has even heard of Jesus. But the people of India are worshipping and adorning something or someone other than Jesus Christ. This fact brings light to the dominating evil in our country. So it is very important that we need to realize, we are far behind in this gospel sharing, even though we have good facilities and support.
It is the time to realise the inner meaning of the words of Paul’s letter to the Corinthians. Here we are on a mission to encourage God’s people to fast for a day to pray for gospel sharing and Indian evangelization.
Through fasting and prayer we can break their bondage
'FASTADAY' is a global network of fasting prayer that encourages Christ's followers to spend a day in prayer with fasting for global evangelization as well as Indian evangelization. In this highly populated nation, only a few people have heard about Jesus Christ, and only a few among them have accepted Jesus Christ as their savior. This ministry has been formed with the vision of being the servant of God. It is our responsibility to pray for our nation and against their slavery. We should arise and pray earnestly for the people of our country. Because we read in Matthew 17:21, "But this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting".
Let us join together in 'FASTADAY'. With prayers, we can break their bondage and share the gospel with them. Let us begin our prayers today with unwavering faith, seeking the evangelization of India. As we unite in prayer, envision a future where every individual in our nation runs to Jesus with repentant hearts. Let's pray together like the Israelites’ prayed against the wall of Jericho.
WHAT ?

“When the trumpets sounded, the army shouted, and at the sound of the trumpet, when the men gave a loud shout, the wall collapsed; so everyone charged straight in, and they took the city”.(Joshua 6:20)
HOW ?
We're running out of time
Time to shed tears in prayers
Time to stand united in prayers
Dear brothers and sisters, The hourglass is almost empty, and we only have limited time. 'FASTADAY' encourages each and every one of you to engage in prayer and fasting, either once a week or once a month, according to your own preference and convenience. Because it is the time to stand united in prayer to share the gospel in each corner of our nation and for the salvation of every citizen. Our prayers are the catalyst for gospel sharing and bringing those who are not acquainted with Jesus to Him.
If you are ready to go on this mission with us, we encourage you to begin it today itself and let people come to Jesus through your prayer. You can register now for this mission through this website, and we will remind you of your day of fasting prayer with a message to your contact number.
We all are called to preach the gospel and if you would like to go and preach the word of god, we are here to help and support you in all your ways. We welcome you to be a part of this ministry and we look forward to your earnest prayers for 'FASTADAY'.
